@t2k I know and agree with your general logic, but we do lose the possibility of freely having parts or all of different firmwares combined into a new variant under the open source umbrella. Nothing inherently wrong with somebody doing new stuff …

What would a complete Mutable system look like today?
A cool alternative to Maths is the Rampage. Also available as a DIY kit! It has a few tricks the Maths lacks, but you sacrifice the 2 attenuated channels. And is slightly smaller.

How about a web app to custom configure Yarns´firmware with outputs as one likes and then install that? This way there will be no more requests from niche users, and one needs not have a complex screen on the module.

Module/patching advice
I would add function dense modules to add some modulation, EG, noise etc. and some multing and mixing. Disting, Maleko Performance Mult and Mix and Qbit Eon. That is if you don´t plan to grow your rack or swap any modules.

Rampage is very powerful, Links (would be welcome to mix and mult), Disting and an EON (noise, LFO, simple Env. and VCO) would round out the hp your a-143 takes up.

Welcome to Euroland. I would maybe swap Doepfer´s a145 LFO for a second Peaks or an Ears (cool as a guitar in) plus a Disting. You could also unmount the cvPal and operate outside of rack for that extra 4hp. Looks good in any case!
