kool looking matrix sequencer / sampler / synth
I always wanted to try a BLM...many cool things about it but have no time / desire to DIY anything ;) The Deluge seems to be a nice compromise of existing matrix sequencers out there and that sampling option is very apealing. Though more limited,…

Sysex channel bit workaround...(solution Kawai MM-16&MIDI4+)
Got a cheap MM-16 online. It separates even and odd notes over the two MIDI output jacks but SYSEX messages are only output out of MIDI jack 1. Didn’t see that in the manual…Rats. Routing the mm-16 through the the iconnectivity MIDI4+ does the tr…

The controls for the Tanzmaus and Tanzbar Lite are way easier to use than the tanzbär, and not too hard once you get used to it. I like the sound a lot (e.g. better than what I have heard from the new arturia drum box). Hard to say which is bett…

800€ distortion/filter/eq/LFO
I have a thing for stereo filters so I’m always in the market for one…this one says stereo on the box but I don’t really hear in-your-face-stereo in the examples. Despite all the distortion it doesn’t sound very colorful. Love the idea, but besid…

@tubeohm rats… I was hoping for a stereo module / non euro rack on this one. Still loving the stereo SVF shruthi as a filter.

Sysex channel bit workaround...(solution Kawai MM-16&MIDI4+)
for future reference…the only device that can separate even/ odd midi notes over two midi output jacks is the kawai MM-16. Per murphy’s law, I didn’t find that out until after I sold the one I had.

Travelsized oscilloscope recommendations. DSO Quad?
have no experience with it but thought I’d throw it into the mix: oscium (ipad app + HW)?

goom 16 voice digisizer: anyone build one? (now ported to STM32F4 discovery)
Sorry, I’m not sure about that. They are completely different chips and I don’t know if the port even has the IO pins enabled…I have only used USB MIDI (ipad > iconnectivity > stm32 USB)

@sirprimalform Weird. I must’ve misunderstood Andre about what he is actually doing with the axoloti. That sounds pretty much like full MIDI implementation. Sorry for the confusion!

Squarp Pyramid, anybody using it here?
In the same boat as rumpelfilter on this one…though I like the idea of a sequencer (on paper rm1x seems to fit the bill the best for my taste) just can’t get into all the complexity and haven’t found one that I can actually play yet (me a bass play…

@sirprimal would love to be wrong about that… the patcher can be controlled via MIDI?

looks pretty cool and you can put pure data patches on it… seems comparable to the axoloti but without the restriction of using the axoloti’s (MIDI-less) interface.

to be clear, in the original post I was asking about assigning or ‘stealing’ oscillators not entire voices. @sirprimal interesting…Andre has an axoloti project going on…

'Palette' modular MIDI controller
I’m useless at color grading…I have an old wacom tablet but I think I’m pretty much the only one who could never get used to the feel of the tip of the ‘pen,’ which is far to inaccurate. A trackpad with a normal stylus works much better for me.

LOL...I use illustrator a lot but I can’t really think of a use case where I would need something like that. I like the idea for music stuff though.
